Description:
Forsythia is a woody, flowery shrub. The forsythia bears stems of yellow flowers before the foliage emerges. Forsythias are one of the first shrubs to bloom in the spring. This shrub has oppositely arranged leaves and small, white lenticels on the stem, which give forsythia twigs the appearance of a pretzel stick.
