Description:
Ficuses are among the most popular houseplants. Most can grow to the size of a small tree. Weeping figs (F. benjamina) have oval shaped leaves with a sharp point, about 3 inches long. Rubber plants (F. elastica) have large oval shaped leaves, held stiffly at an angle, and can reach 8-10 inches long. Fiddleleaf figs (F. lyrata) have large leaves that resemble the body of a fiddle, with a large rounded tip and small bumps at the leaf base.
